Well the weather did not quite cooperate and we had a few hiccups, but everyone was incredibly patient and made for a fantastic event. I will be posting all results tomorrow. If you weren’t there and thought you should have a prize there are definitely some left. Reach out to me directly at ben@eauctionservices.com. Also remember that the 5k participant prize will be available for pickup at vertical runner sometime this week or early next week at the latest. I will also post our fundraising total, we had a great day and I believe the numbers exceeded all of our goals. A special thanks to our great volunteers, and stay tuned for the run up to next year.

We have officially closed online registration. You can register tonight from 5-8 at Vertical Runner at 112 N. Main St in Hudson Ohio, or tomorrow morning. The registration will be at the Dix Stadium parking lot. We will be setting up in the northwest corner of the parking lot, and there is plenty of parking. Registration will start at 6:30am, the race starts at 8am sharp. Thanks for all of your support. Weather still looks great.

We really had a good week of signups and we are starting to get excited. If you have offered to volunteer, we will be sending a volunteer email out in about a week. Sign up soon so we can get an accurate headcount

The KSU athletic department is allowing us to use the field house parking lot which will be right be the registration and packet pickup tables. We will have signs and attendants directing you when you get there

Save-a-Lot in Kent has agreed to provide snacks and drinks at the race finish line. Community support has been outstanding. Remember to register soon.

The race day schedule is finalized. The 25k and 5k will begin simultaneously at 8am on April 9th, and the fun-run will begin at 10am. The awards presentation will be at the Rusty Nail at 11am. If you haven’t registered yet please sign up through active.com soon.

We are starting to see more and more participants register. Please register early so we can get an accurate shirt count. Once you register you will receive an additional invite to the after-party at the Rusty Nail. This will include an after race menu and additional info. We are also working on some entertainment for the event.

Tell all your friends to register as soon as possible, and thanks again for all the support. By the way we will have an official and final route soon, the County engineers office is reviewing the traffic requirements as we speak.
